Ruth Mountain

Located just south of Hannegan Pass in the North Cascades of Washington state, Ruth Mountain is a 7,115 ft Skagit Range summit in a spectacular alpine setting. This peak’s name honors Ruth Cleveland, daughter of President Grover Cleveland. This glaciated peak is a technically ideal objective for beginner mountaineers, and offers panoramic views of Mount Shuksan, Mount Baker, Hannegan Peak, and the rarely visited Picket Range.
