Join evoTrip x Rossignol on a 7-day adventure as we ski & ride endless powder fields and the historic Vallee Blanche, one of the longest ski runs in the world.

Explore the world’s best off-piste and freeride terrain, and the incredibly vibrant mountain town of Chamonix, on this 7-day advanced ski and snowboard tour. The oldest skiing area in the French Alps, and host to the first Winter Olympics in 1924, Chamonix is the very definition of iconic.

With Mont Blanc unlimited passes and the support of local, certified mountain guides as well as evo trip leaders, the 10 resorts + Aiguille du Midi – the world’s highest mountain served by an aerial lift system, and our ticket to the 14+ mile Vallee Blanche ski descent – are all at our fingertips. After no shortage of high adventure during the day, fantastic apres ski awaits, as do world-class restaurants, shops, and bars. Our adventure basecamp for the week: the 4-star Alpina Eclectic Hotel & Spa, a modern, mountain hotel fully loaded with amenities. Staying in the heart of Cham and at the base of western Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc (15,777’), we’ll explore this beautiful alpine town and the massive surrounding terrain right outside our door.

Sponsored by our brand partners at Rossignol, who have long called the French Alps home, this trip includes a free pair of skis or snowboard and an exclusive tour of their factory in Sallanches.

Trip Planning

Trip Planning

Late February / March is the most dependable month for snow in this part of the world, but weather and snow conditions can vary dramatically. Come prepared for anything from full winter to spring riding conditions, with a good all-mountain setup, a versatile layering system, and a range of eye protection. A ski with roughly a 100mm to 110mm waist is the best option, or a snowboard made for freeriding and powder. Always bring extra layers, good gloves, two pairs of goggles if you have them, or extra lenses, winter clothes for after skiing and a down jacket. We will be in the mountains so bring clothes that will keep you warm in a wide variety of conditions. Learn more about traveling with your gear here!

FAQ
FAQ
  • Is my departure guaranteed?
No, as each trip requires a minimum number of guests in order to run, please wait to make travel arrangements and book flights until you have received confirmation from evoTrip that your departure has been confirmed.
  • Can I choose my roommate?
Yes. If you have a roommate request, please let us know. By default, we will place two people of the same gender in a room with two beds.
  • What if I'm a solo traveler that would like a roommate but none are available?
If you are a solo traveler that would like a roommate, we do our best to pair you with another solo traveler of the same gender. However, if no roommate option is available and you must be assigned your own room, you will be asked to pay 50% of the single supplement to cover the cost of your room. In this case, since the single supplement fee is $785, you would need to pay $392.50. Please note roommates are paired on a first come, first served basis, so the earlier you book the less likely you will be "forced" into a single room!
  • Can I book a private room?
Yes. Single occupancy rooms may be available at an additional cost of $785. Please contact us if you are interested and note that single rooms are subject to availability, and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
  • How do I meet up with the group?
Arrive to the Geneva airport on Day 1, February 26. If flying in on Day 1, please ensure your flight arrival is no later than 2pm to meet your trip leaders and transfer to the Alpina Eclectic Hotel & Spa in Chamonix. If you would rather arrive a day early, and/or you cannot find a suitable flight that arrives by 2pm on Day 1, you are welcome to do so - please note any pre-trip hotel is at your own expense. We recommend the Crowne Plaza Geneva for accommodations near the airport.
  • I am a beginner / intermediate / advanced level skier / snowboarder. Will there be terrain for me?
This trip is for advanced skiers and snowboarders. Confidence riding steep runs (black diamond and double black), off-piste variable terrain, and deep snow conditions is necessary for participants to have an enjoyable trip. Fitness level should be adequate for long days of skiing and riding. If you are unsure if this is the right trip for your ability level, feel free to email [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
  • What is the maximum number of guests on each trip?
This trip will have a maximum of 12 guests.
  • Should I purchase travel insurance?
Yes! While it is not required, we always recommend purchasing travel insurance for all trips. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement if you are forced to cancel your trip for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to cover medical help, emergency transport, theft and/or accidental damage while traveling. We recommend World Nomads.
  • I'm ready to book. What next?
To secure your spot, you can either pay the full amount now or contact Customer Care at 1.866.386.1590 if you prefer to only pay your $1,000 per person deposit. Note that regardless of paying full payment or deposit at time of booking, we will consider $1,000 to be a non-refundable deposit in accordance with our terms and conditions. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • What if I need to change or cancel my trip?
If you need to cancel, the deposit for the trip is non-refundable and cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee (see policy below). For this reason, we recommend purchasing travelers insurance, which will cover the cost of your trip in extenuating circumstances. All cancellations must be submitted to evo in writing, are effective as of the date we receive them according to our internal records, and will be subject to a cancellation fee as follows (amounts are per person and only apply to amount paid after the non-refundable deposit amount): Cancellation 90 days or more prior to trip departure - Non-Refundable Deposit. Cancellation between 60 and 89 days prior to trip departure - 50% of total booking cost. Cancellation less than 60 days prior to departure - 100% of total booking cost. Cancellation policy for custom trips may differ from these terms and will be communicated prior to booking. No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. The same applies if you leave a trip or cannot fully participate in a trip due to injury or illness. Refunds will be at the discretion of the Company if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.

Testimonials
Our guide for 3 days of skiing was outstanding. He quickly determined the capabilities of our small group in order to ascertain what everyone could handle, and then came up with an itinerary that everyone was pleased with. We went to places on the mountain that we'd never have done on our own.

Our guided tour of the Vallée Blanche was the highlight of the week in Chamonix. We got lucky with the weather, however the experience of our guide (Christophe) was instrumental in making the ski descent a day I will never forget. Overall, I couldn't imagine a better experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
