Meaning “White Mountain” the peak spans across the French and Italian borders with a tunnel through the mountain connecting Chamonix, France, and Courmayeur, Italy, allowing for easy transfers between the two countries. Skiing and riding options around the mountain are seemingly endless with 5 resorts just on the Chamonix side.
