Futures F4 Honeycomb Small Five Fin Set is an all-around balanced setup, with a subtle flex and refined tip you'll be able to put the power down predictably. This configuration does well in all conditions, letting you mix and match for the optimal configuration.
Honeycomb – The hexagonal foam core mat in these fins reduces the resin content, making the fin lighter while keeping the fin stiff where it counts. This gives these fins a medium flex pattern making them a great all around performer. From mushy beach breaks to pumping reef points, honeycomb fins are the standard when it comes to upgrade fins.
Side Fins – Height: 4.37" / Base: 4.22" / Area:14.22in²
Center Fin – Height: 4.37" / Base: 4.22" / Area: 14.22in²
Rear Fins – Height: 3.76" / Base: 3.71" / Area: 10.73in²
Foil Efficiency – Futures' foils are designed to move efficiently through the water, minimizing drag and maximizing glide between strokes.
Flat Foil Side Fins – Flat foiled fins break free sooner, and are better at controlling speed. Often surfers prefer them in fast powerful surf where they do not need to create additional speed. If you have muscle memory from riding glass-ons, flat foiled fins will feel the closest.
Symmetrical Foil Center and Rear Fins – Symmetrical foil rear fins on quads give a fluid consistent feeling that is predictable in all conditions, especially when the rear fins are set off the rail, closer to the stringer.
Ride Number 4.6 / 10 – Ride Number is all about how your equipment feels while you're surfing. Now you can choose a Speed Generating Feel that is springy and responsive by picking a fin in the 10-7 range, or a solid, engaged, and predictable feel from the Speed Control category rated 4-1. For a Balanced feel try a Ride Number of 7-4.
