What are Community Engagement Collectives?
Community Engagement Collectives are small groups led by our employees whose goal is to build relationships in the community. They support their community through volunteerism, partnerships, and elevating the stories of organizations working to transform our community. In the words of our Distribution Center members, The CEC is a great opportunity for team members to have a meaningful and direct impact on the local communities near our DC.
Memorable Moments from this past year
DC team members spent a significant amount of volunteer hours helping the Fred Oldfield Western Heritage and art center prepare for reopening to the community and the Puyallup Fair. The DC also supported some amazing local programs this year like Young Hearts Therapeutic Riding, Camp Kesem, Tacoma Glass Art Museum, and communities in schools. We wanted to take a moment to celebrate Janelle, Aubree, Brenda, Hannah, and Ainsley for all their hard work and the impact they are making in their community.
