Light enough to serve as a touring ski but powerful enough to rip the descent the way you'd normally ski on your freeride setup, the Head Kore 99 Skis have been one of the revelations of the last few years. Head has nailed the Graphene-KOROYD-Carbon construction, and in combination with the ultralight Karuba wood core, delivers performance that punches well above its weight class. Suitable as an all-mountain ski mounted with alpine bindings or a hybrid "do-it-all" setup mounted with a suitable freetouring binding.

Karuba Light Wood Core – Karuba gives the Kore series skis their pop and personality. It's the perfect ratio of density and weight. The advantages of combining Karuba, Koroyd and Graphene enhance the ski, making it light and balanced.
Topless Tech – Head uses a polyester fleece rather than solid plastic topsheet material to create the lightest skis in their category.
Graphene – The strongest, lightest material known to man is fused into the Kore's tip and tail to make it lighter and more responsive in deep snow.
Koroyd – A honeycomb shaped material at the heart of the KORE. It's super-light and incredibly elastic. It's strong and flexible and what makes the KORE special.
Carbon Glass Fiber / Carbon
Sandwich Cap Construction – Head takes the basic framework from the world cup sandwich and place a cap that just wraps over the top edge of the sidewall to make the ski more suitable for all mountain skiing. Bomber construction with a rounded top edge makes for one incredible all-country ski.
Structured UHM C Base – The same high quality material used in Head's world-leading race skis is used here. Different structured running base for all conditions.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

The Tyrolia Ambition 12 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings are lightweight frame touring bindings that meld alpine-like ease of use and durability with uphill skinning capability. The Ambition 12's AT toe adjusts easily for either ISO 9523 Alpine Touring soles, Alpine ISO 5355 soles or GripWalk soles, and the binding accommodates almost any adult boot sole length with an easily adjusted telescoping tube system. Tyrolia's Freeflex system interacts with the toe and frame of the Ambition 12 to allow enough elasticity for the ski to flex naturally under load.
Alpine Touring Toe – Compact design with a 65 mm wide mechanical AFD adjusts to fit all adult boot sole types. Double rollers provide superior safety release and re-centering action, and a wide contact area improves stability and response.
Alpine Touring Heel and Climbing Aid – The secure lock and climbing aid is positioned close to the heel for better balance and climbing, and the low 38 mm stand height stays out of the way while skinning. Four different climbing heights are available: 0˚, 5˚, 10˚ and 15˚.
Telescopic Tube Adjustment – The AAAmbition features a unique light-weight telescopic tube for easy adjustment to different boot sole lengths. A single binding model can cover the entire range of different sole lengths – from 260 to 350 mm. The telescopic tube also enables a more compact mounting to perfectly position the binding on your skis and eliminate mid-point deviation.
