WNDR Alpine is the new name in backcountry skiing. Centered around an innovative microalgae-based material, WNDR skis are light, strong, and eco-friendly. The Vital 100 is the narrower of the two shapes they currently offer, and is designed for long uphills with technical descents. It is offered in either a rockered or cambered version, allowing you to pick just the right profile for your riding style. The WNDR Alpine Vital 100 Reverse Skis + Marker Kingpin 13 Demo Bindings + Black Diamond Glidelite Skins give you a nimble, pivoty feel for soft snow performance, while still retaining the precise edgehold needed for hard snow descents on spring tours or high alpine lines.

Biobased Super Sap® – Biobased Super Sap® technology replaces traditional petroleum-based resin systems. Entropy Resins® minimize the carbon footprint of WNDR Alpine products. The certified bio-based content per ASTM D6866 of the ER-305 Resin is 28%.
Sidewalls
Algal Wall – Algal Wall cast polyurethane sidewalls are made utilizing a proprietary biobased polyurethane, engineered to improve edge hold and bondline strength with core over traditional materials. Algal Wall sidewalls utilize a novel manufacturing technique that diverts plastic waste from the landfill compared to traditional use of ABS plastic sidewalls. Biobased carbon content 60% by ASTM D6866.

All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm. Alpine Touring Also known as backcountry skis, alpine touring (AT) skis are designed for going uphill as well as downhill. These skis are typically light for their width and many feature fittings that accept climbing skins. AT skis vary in width and weight, with the wider heavier versions usually used for winter/deep snow touring and the skinnier, lighter skis usually used for spring/summer/long distance touring.

Rocker Type
Rocker Rocker (also called reverse-camber) is just as it sounds – camber turned upside down. Rocker skis have a side profile with a smooth downward curvature and a contact point at the middle of the ski. Rocker skis excel in deep powder. This profile provides the skis with less tip and tail hang up to prevent from catching edges and allows the skis to initiate turns extremely quickly. This profile doesn’t perform as well in icy conditions or on harder snow but if you spend lots of time in deep, untracked snow and like a more playful ski, Rocker is a great choice.
