In the 80's, there were these little toy trucks called Stompers. They were great little 4x4s that would power up and over obstacles, crawling around your room powered by a single AA battery. They were fantastic, and anyone who remembers misses them dearly. The Lobster Stomper Snowboard probably isn't a reference to these toy trucks, but there are some similarities there: the ATV vibe, nice to look at, and just really cool. This board is the most all-mountainous in the Lobster lineup, with a directional twin shape and flex that's more straightline than its mates. It'll still land switch into pow off a cheese wedge--it is, in fact, still a Lobster--but it's more speed metal than psychedelic rap. Batteries not included.

Rocker Type
Freestyle 3BT™ – Freestyle 3BT™ is the most all mountain shape in the line. Its twin-ish shape and medium centerbase width produce a powerful ride with freestyle tendencies and powder float. It’s ideal for riders that like to charge the whole mountain, from powder to park.
3BT™ – Tip-to-tail camber with rockered sidebases in the tips. It's not rocker, it's not camber, it's Triple Base Technology. So when you stand in your bindings the contact edges are lifted up around the tail and nose. The pressure from your weight powers up the camber for pop and precision, and since the edges are lifted out of the snow, you won't catch an edge.

SideKick™ – The revolutionary SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, increases float in powder and improves handling of the board in rough terrain.

Core Core – A blend of poplar wood reinforced with two central hardwood stringers to enhance pop reinforce the camber and strengthen the insert area.
Laminates
Bi Ax Laminate – Their traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.
Carbon Stringers – Carbon stringers increase pop and stability. It will lift you to the next level (literally).
Sidewalls
Flex Walls – Urethane infused Flex Walls. The added urethane helps dampen vibrations.

Camber Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
