The Juliana Joplin 4 C S Complete Mountain Bike makes the rest of the bikes in the race wonder what they're doing with their lives. Why is it always race race race, and never any fun? The Joplin contends for the podium knowing it'll be having fun the next day too--it's an accomplished XC racer that's even more at home riding trails for pure enjoyment. Juliana's S build is the perfect complement to this do-nearly-everything bike, too. On long rides, short rips, pretty much anything that doesn't call for a fullface helmet: the Joplin cannot be beat!
Carbon C Frame – A minimal weight gain of approximately 250 - 280 grams (0.6 lbs) for the C frame over the CC due to the different grade of carbon used. Whether you're riding a carbon CC or C frame, you get exactly the same legendary strength and stiffness because Santa Cruz uses exactly the same manufacturing facility and techniques.
Lower-Link Mounted VPP® Suspension – VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines. This redesign mounts the shock lower on the bike, making for an even better ride quality.
Fox Float DPS Performance Rear Shock – Performance Series FLOAT DPS shocks have fewer adjustments than Factory Series (no Open mode adjust tuning range), and have black anodized air sleeve and body instead of Genuine Kashima Coat.
Shock Adjustments – Lever Actuated Open, Medium, Firm Modes, Air Spring Pressure, External Rebound
The Glovebox™ – Seal whatever you want to carry on your ride inside your downtube. Secure and easy to access, the Glovebox™ has a Tool Wallet and Tube Purse inside, to help organize your stuff too. Simply cavernous!

SRAM GX Eagle – Day in, day out, this is the Eagle ecosystem at its best. GX Eagle combines the full-featured capability of Eagle technologies, in a group that realizes the potential within every build. This is where you’ll find the best aluminum MTB crankset SRAM makes. GX Eagle has its own version of the new, 500-percent range, 10-50t cassette, for more top end speed or a more comfortable climb—should you choose to run it.
Avid Centerline Rotors | 180mm – The new CenterLine Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
SRAM G2 R Brakes – The internals of R function the same as SRAM's higher end offerings, but with a simplified shell. G2 R features 7% more power than our Guide Brake. More power means a lighter touch when applying braking power and better control.
Maxxis Dissector Front Tire – Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining cornering control. This versatile tire can be used as a front, a pair, or as a rear depending on trail conditions.
Maxxis Rekon Rear Tire – A light trail tire designed to go fast in technical terrain, the Rekon is great in hard-packed to loose conditions.
RaceFace AR Offset 30mm 29" Rims Laced to DT Swiss 370 Hubs – All-around rad AR rims are slightly tweaked with an new asymmetrical profile. Fully dialed to be stiffer, stronger and optimally balanced, these crazy-versatile rims come in every width imaginable to cover XC to plus bikes and everything in between. These rims are laced to tough DT Swiss hubs.
RockShox Reverb Stealth Dropper Post – Don’t let its familiar good looks fool you—Reverb is a whole new weapon. Its internals have been completely re-engineered to improve on its already legendary performance and to offer enhanced reliability: all the smallest details, down to the single seal, have been re-evaluated and updated to pass the hardest and longest durability tests. Additional bushing overlap also improves performance over time. This is the brand-new Reverb, engineered for the next-generation mountain biker.
