Hey, what you got in that Glovebox™? A list of all the things that make your Santa Cruz Bicycles Megatower 2 C GX AXS Reserve Complete Mountain Bike so rad? Cool. That's a long list - maybe even CVS receipt long - but there's plenty of room in there. Let's go over it: mega travel, the sickest carbon wheels on the planet, wireless shifting, amazing brakes, and this cavernous Glovebox™ itself. Add that to whatever else you want to bring along for the ride. A spare tube, baby wipes, fishing weights, spare speed shades, autographed pics of the Santa Cruz Syndicate race squad, electrical tape for your friends who are still taping stuff to their frames. This bike is bananas. Hey, throw a banana in there too! What. A. Bike!
Carbon C Frame – A minimal weight gain of approximately 250 - 280 grams (0.6 lbs) for the C frame over the CC due to the different grade of carbon used. Whether you're riding a carbon CC or C frame, you get exactly the same legendary strength and stiffness because Santa Cruz uses exactly the same manufacturing facility and techniques.
Lower-Link Mounted VPP® Suspension – VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines. This redesign mounts the shock lower on the bike, making for an even better ride quality.
RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ Rear Shock – Super Deluxe Select+ is built for the latest breed of hard hitting enduro and trail bikes. Offering the ride control you need paired with a user-friendly threshold adjustment all rolled into a great high performance-to-value package. We even threw in Maxima Plush fluid to reduce friction and silence noise.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure, Low Speed Compression, Rebound
The Glovebox™ – Seal whatever you want to carry on your ride inside your downtube. Secure and easy to access, the Glovebox™ has a Tool Wallet and Tube Purse inside, to help organize your stuff too. Simply cavernous!

SRAM Code RSC – Meet the new standard for hard-hitting, heavy-duty braking. SRAM added 15% extra piston power and 30% more volume in the lever reservoir, ensuring peak performance for the full run. And with SwingLink™ and Lever Pivot Bearing technologies, lever feel remains smooth and progressive, no matter how hard the pull. Go deeper and grab more power.
Avid CenterLine Rotors | 200mm – The new CenterLine Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
Reserve 30 Carbon Rims Laced to Industry Nine 1/1 Hubs – The Reserve 30 is specially designed to stand up to abuse, featuring a 30mm width for use with 2.5 tires and a redesigned inner rim bed that takes the hassle out of seating new tires. Proven in the lab, backed by a lifetime guarantee, and ride tested in some of the toughest terrain on the planet, the 30 takes you there faster with a greater sense of confidence. Combined with Industry Nine's fantastic 1/1 hubs, this is an unbeatable wheelset. Reserve rims come with a lifetime guarantee.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – A real rider's tire choice, these Minions bring a mix of rolling resistance, wear, and performance that can't be beat.
Maxxis Assegai Front Tire – With tall knobs that punch through dust and loam to find traction, this tire offers support and confidence on wet roots and rocks. While other tires excel only in certain conditions, the new Maxxis Assegai is built to go fast everywhere.
Reserve Fillmore Valves – Reserve has rewritten the future of tubeless systems with the introduction of the all-new Fillmore valve, a completely new take on tubeless valve designs. The patented Fillmore valve represents a game-changing leap forward in technology, with a high-flow design that eases tubeless set up and eliminates the traditional, delicate, clog-inciting valve core of yesteryear.
RockShox Reverb Stealth Dropper Post – Don’t let its familiar good looks fool you—Reverb is a whole new weapon. Its internals have been completely re-engineered to improve on its already legendary performance and to offer enhanced reliability: all the smallest details, down to the single seal, have been re-evaluated and updated to pass the hardest and longest durability tests. Additional bushing overlap also improves performance over time. This is the brand-new Reverb, engineered for the next-generation mountain biker.
