Shop all Scott Shop sale ScottThe Scott Spark 950 Complete Mountain Bike has gotten a makeover and there's more than meets the eye. Scott's all new Integrated Suspension System keeps the rear shock on the down-low, shrouded by frame material for improved power transfer, more efficient performance, and greater protection. But that's not all: you can now adjust the head angle by 0.6 degrees by rotating your headset 180, no cable cutting or brake bleeding necessary. Toss in the ability to lock out its front and rear suspension with the handlebar-mounted remote and you've got a bike that's just as single minded about singletrack as you are.
Spark 3 Alloy SL 6011 Aluminum Frame – With custom butted and hydroformed tubes, a tapered headtube, and Boost spacing, this frame shares its geometry with its carbon Spark cousins.
Integrated Suspension System – An integrated shock platform allows Scott to refine suspension characteristics without sacrificing weight. The frame construction around the shock and with the trunnion mount is much more rigid, reducing movement and fostering more efficient power transfer. Frames also have a lower shock placement which lowers center of gravity. As a result, the bike benefits from better handling, and a more stable, confidence inspiring ride for the end user.
Single Pivot Suspension Layout – The Spark’s suspension layout has a very specific and proven kinematic and less unsprung mass. Using a flex pivot in the seat stay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This allows for a very lightweight system while still ensuring optimal suspension performance.
TwinLoc Suspension System – With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
RockShox Deluxe Select RL3 Rear Shock – Deluxe Select delivers a lightweight package with the same proven damping performance of the entire Deluxe family. Now featuring Maxima Plush fluid for added performance and ride quality.
Shock Adjustments – External Rebound Adjustment / Air Spring Pressure
Easy Shock Access – Accessing the shock via the bottom bracket area is facilitated through a hatch. This makes it easy to adjust rebound, compression, shock pressure, and for installing or replacing the cable for our TwinLoc Suspension System.
Adjustable Head Angle – With the new Spark, you can adjust the head angle by .6 degrees slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding brakes. All you must do is disassemble the bar, rotate the headset cups 180 degrees, and reassemble.
ICCR Cable Routing – Routing the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut.
RockShox Pike Select RL3 Air – Pike Select combines an updated DebonAir air spring with the Charger RC damper, perfect for any trail junket you have planned. With its buttery smooth feel off the top, this fork still maintains a higher ride height for increased confidence in steep terrain. Its Charger RC damper is a proven performer, too.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Open, Medium, Firm Modes / Low Speed Rebound
SRAM GX / NX Eagle 12-Speed – A solid mix of SRAM NX and GX Eagle 12 speed components make up this drivetrain, giving you a combo of low weight, high gear range, and great performance.
Shimano Disc Brakes – Controllable stopping power, all in a lightweight 2-piston trail brake. These feature Shimano's famous reliability and ease of setup.
Shimano RT-64 Rotors | 180mm
Schwalbe Wicked Will Tires – The new Wicked Will has many faces. Whether you set out on an alpine crossing or the fast trail lap, Wicked Will is the right choice and combines like no other light running and grip. It has a fast-rolling midsection with ramped lugs, and a smooth transition area out to its stable and grippy shoulder knobs.
