The Marin Nicasio combines Beyond Road geometry and a smooth-riding steel frame with mountain bike components like hydraulic disc brakes and wider knobby tires. The result is the best commuter bike you could ask for, with good gear range and plenty of power, and the capabilities to venture off the beaten track for long-distance riding on dirt, gravel, and short joints past the place where the pavement ends. Marin Nicasio Ridge 650B Complete Bike is the up-spec'd version of the standard, with components leaning a bit more toward the off-road side of things. A dropper seat post, hydraulic brakes, and a 1x11 drivetrain mean more fun further off the beaten track.

Steel Frame Construction – Using Series 1 and 2 butted 4130 CrMo tubes, this frame has disc brakes, full fender and rack mounts, and multiple bottle bosses.
Beyond Road Geometry – Offering a blend of endurance road handling with enhanced stability, this bike is great off-road as well.
Tire Clearance – The Nicasio frame and fork has clearance for up to 700C x 35mm or 650B x 47mm tires.
