The Santa Cruz Bicycles Megatower CC XX1 Reserve Complete Mountain Bike laughs in your general direction. It's completely unfazed by aggressive trails, nasty comments, or claims it's just too much bike. Megatowers are confident in their abilities, and ready to stretch yours. This model is the mega-est of all the Megatowers, too, with Reserve wheels, SRAM XX1 AXS, and the best Fox suspension on the planet. All that unpleasant stuff? This bike knowingly pats them on the head and disappears down the trail. See you later!
Carbon CC Frame – Santa Cruz's highest grade CC-level carbon frame is every bit as stiff and strong as their C-level frame, but weighs about 280 grams less, due to the use of lighter, stronger, and more expensive carbon fiber. Santa Cruz is also able to truly integrate the shock mounts, pivot mounts, dropouts and disc brake tabs into the structure, using all uni-directional carbon plies. The shock mount isn't merely riveted or bonded on after curing, but is an integrated part of the fiber lay-up. This makes Santa Cruz's carbon frames incredibly strong and able to absorb impact better than any other frame they've tested.
Lower-Link Mounted VPP® Suspension – VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines. This redesign mounts the shock lower on the bike, making for an even better ride quality.
Fox Float X2 Factory Rear Shock – The biggest air shock in the game has seen all new everything: damper, chassis, main piston, bottom-out bumper, shaft, seals, and compression curve. Long story short, the latest X2 has improved on the industry best. From small bump suppleness to big hit control, this is an amazing air shock.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / High- and Low-Speed Rebound and Compression / 2-Position Lockout Lever
Bottle Cage Mount – Within the front triangle, fits piggyback shocks.
Dropout Flip Chip – Allows 10mm chainstay length adjustment.
148mm Rear Axle Spacing
Double Sealed Pivots for Long Bearing Life
ISCG-05 Tabs for Chainguide Compatibility
Integrated Headset
Integrated Flip Chip for High/Low Setting Adjustment
Molded Rubber Swingarm and Downtube Protection

Fox 36 Float Factory – With Kashima-coated stanchions, lower leg pressure bleeders, a floating axle, and the famous GRIP2 damper, these forks are straight out of the EWS pits. Smooth, tuneable, and definitely "factory," there's no better fork on the planet.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure, High-Speed Compression and Rebound Adjust (8-Clicks), Low-Speed Compression and Rebound Adjust (16-Clicks)
SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS – XC spec and ready for the trail. XX1 Eagle AXS utilizes the proven backbone of SRAM 1x. With the lightest weight materials and a 520-percent gear range. More secure and longer wearing X-Sync 2 chainring. The pinnacle of performance, paired with the connected components of Eagle AXS. Ready for the new gen of super bikes.
SRAM Code RSC Brakeset – Code dominates the World Cup — and every downhill trail worth its salt. In the gravity world, this is the pinnacle of performance, power and control. SRAM's famous big brakes have 4-piston calipers, a large reservoir, and fistfuls of power.
Avid CenterLine Rotors – The new CenterLine Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
Maxxis Assegai Front Tire – With tall knobs that punch through dust and loam to find traction, this tire offers support and confidence on wet roots and rocks. While other tires excel only in certain conditions, the new Maxxis Assegai is built to go fast everywhere.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Tires – A real rider's tire choice, these Minions bring a mix of rolling resistance, wear, and performance that can't be beat. With MaxxGrip up front and MaxxTerra compound on the rear, this is a no-compromise rubber setup.
Santa Cruz Reserve 30 Carbon Rims with i9 Hydra Hubs – Whether it's a sunset lap with friends or a race run against the clock, a broken wheel ruins any ride. SC set strength and impact resistance as their highest priority, but strength doesn't have to mean uncomfortably stiff. Their wheels are compliant enough to avoid that harsh "wooden" ride that gives some carbon rims a bad name offroad. Santa Cruz only makes offroad bikes, so they have the privilege of being able to focus purely on the mountain bike experience. Everything from the thickness of rim beads to external spoke hole reinforcements comes purely from their experience of knowing what riders need at every level—from international racing to your local trails.
RockShox Reverb Stealth Dropper Seatpost – Don’t let its familiar good looks fool you—Reverb is a whole new weapon. Its internals have been completely re-engineered to improve on its already legendary performance and to offer enhanced reliability: all the smallest details, down to the single seal, have been re-evaluated and updated to pass the hardest and longest durability tests. Additional bushing overlap also improves performance over time. This is the brand-new Reverb, engineered for the next-generation mountain biker.
Santa Cruz Carbon Handlebar – Designed and made exclusively by Santa Cruz, using everything they've learned from creating World Championship winning carbon bicycles. Each bar has a dialed amount of stiffness, keeping vibration in check and minimizing arm fatigue. Discrete markers take the pain out of set-up alignments and stealth branding keeps things class.
