The Mountain Hardwear The Viv™ GORE-TEX Pro Jacket is a three layer shell made for gnarly riding in inclement weather and rapidly fluctuating temperatures. The GORE-TEX Pro membrane is exceptionally breathable, and the whole jacket is lightweight, durable, and thoughtfully put together for ease of use exploring the backcountry. The big chest zips provide easy access to dump pockets big enough to fit mittens on the way up and skins on the way down, and can be left open to serve as additional vents. If you need a top of the line snow shell for both sides of the boundary line, go for The Viv.
