The Salomon QST Lumen 99 Skis are the perfect tool for skiers who don't need a trail map to tell them where to go. Their 99mm waist and All Terrain Rocker profile provides an excellent platform for exploring new zones in fresh snow, but with Cork Damplifier inserts and a C/FX Carbon Flax Weave to keep the ride smooth and chatter-free at speed, they aren't above hitting your favorite groomers, either. For all mountain capability you can count on, look to the Salomon QST Lumen 99 Skis.
All Terrain Rocker – 20% Tip Rocker / 65% Camber / 15% Tail Rocker
Light Poplar Full Woodcore – A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations.
Carbon Powered C/FX Carbon Flax Weave – C/FX technology is elevated to the next level of performance by being supercharged with two times more carbon and balanced with basalt to keep its superior dampening and vibration absorption properties.
Cork Damplifier – Cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening with even less weight.
Double Sidewall Construction – A high density injected piece of ABS underfoot combined with full length sidewalls creates a strong platform underfoot to maximize the grip on hard snow.
TPU Glossy Topsheet
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

When it comes to tech bindings you can use for daily skiing, the Marker Kingpin 10 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings still rule the roost. Light enough for adventurous touring but tough enough to slap on your daily drivers, the Kingpin 10 simply gets the job done with a weight of only 758 grams per foot. In addition, the power transmission with the spring-loaded Kingpin heel unit is a an improvement you'll feel over the traditional twin-pin tech heel connection. A favorite of hard charging backcountry types and working snow professionals. *Please Note: These bindings have updated toe pieces from Marker and are not affected by the August, 2018 recall.*
Kingpin Toe – The PinTech design on the KingPin toe piece promotes an ergonomic rolling up the foot and the most direct possible connection to the ski. Six steel springs capture the energy optimally, up to a DIN setting of 13. Individually adjustable positioning blocks make it quick and easy to step in no matter what the conditions.
Updated Toe – These bindings have updated toe pieces from Marker and are not affected by the August, 2018 recall.
Kingpin Heel – The revolutionary heel construction for the PinTech bindings features wide sole contact points to deliver the kind of direct, lossless power transfer more frequently seen in alpine bindings.
Kingpin Climbing Aid | 0° / 7° / 13° – Good climbing aids have one thing in common: Whatever the situation, they can be operated by feel, even when the skier can't see them clearly. Simplicity is a virtue here, and reduced exertion is even better. The KINGPIN wins hearts and minds through two integrated climbing aids (7° and 13°) that are easily deployed or stowed using the basket of the pole. They can also be operated conveniently using the tip of the pole, allowing them to work with any basket style. Because the climbing aids are positioned in the upper center of the heel piece, they are always easy to reach.
Walk / Ski Modes – The refined locking/unlocking procedure for the heel piece is part of the binding's charm. It takes just one step to switch from walk to ski mode: Simply flip a lever, push down on the heel and you're good to go. The mechanism works even in critical situations and challenging descents.
One Size Fits All – Boots with tech toe fittings are required.
TÜV Certified to ISO/DIN 13992:2007 – The Marker Kingpin is one of only a few tech touring bindings to have passed the ISO/DIN 13992 standard.

The Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 95 W CT GW Alpine Touring Ski Boots are a "quiver of one" gift for those with low volume feet and narrow ankles and heels. There isn't another boot on the market that matches the close fit of the Hawx Ultra series around the midfoot and ankle, and that proximity to your foot and leg brings with it a new sort of precision in your skiing that has to be experienced to be believed. On top of that, the Hawx Ultra XTD 95 offers exceptional touring capability and a "not to soft, not too stiff" flex that lends itself well to "off the beaten path" skiing - just the sort of thing you're interested in.
Last: 98 mm – A narrow and low volume touring last.
Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
Women's Specific Cuff – Specifically designed for female skiers, this cuff features wider, more fluted calf areas and a shorter cuff height for a secure, comfortable fit.
Flex: 95 – A medium-stiff flex perfectly suited to strong skiers looking for a balanced feel.
True Flex – This Atomic-exclusive shell material provides the same flex in a wide variety of temperatures so your boot won't feel too stiff in the winter or lose power in the spring.
3D Silver Liner – With touring flex zone
Cuff – Polyurethane
Shell – True Flex Polyurethane
Prolite – Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Energy Backbone – A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.
Forward Lean – 15˚ (default) with 13˚ and 17˚ options
Frictionless Pivot – Igus polymer bearings provide completely natural movement for effortless ascents.
Free/Lock 4.0 – Next-gen walk mode design stays put when descending and allows outstanding range of motion while touring.
Range of Motion – 54˚
7000 Series Aluminum Buckles
35mm Velcro Strap
Skywalk GripWalk Sole
Complete Tech – This boot has tech inserts in both the toe and the heel for maximum touring binding compatibility.
