As the most tinkered-with board in the Slash lineup, the Slash ATV Snowboard has seen a few changes for the new season. Most notably is a slightly softer flex and the introduction of "dog ears" 3D sections at the nose and tail. These spoon-like features, along a bit more width, make the ATV even more adept at freestyling all over the mountain. If ever there was a board for the spontaneous creativity of the riders at the sharp edge of the white wave, this is it. You have the whole world at your feet with this one: go forth and rip!

Rocker Type
Camber – A tried and true camber profile that offers a precise feel, predictable turns, solid edge hold, suspension and powerful pop. Traditional camber distributes weight evenly and offers a progressive flex pattern.
3D Lift – 3D lift pulls the tip (and tail) of the board away from the snow. Heavier scoop in the Vertical’s nose for extra float and now more subtly in the ATV’s tip & tail, akin to a dog’s ears, it provides more butterability and extra float.

Deep Singular Sidecut – A predictable and powerful sidecut with a single radius that makes for consistent turns. It’s ideal for intermediate and advanced riders who already know how to carve a turn, like to ride fast, and desire strong edge hold.
Core
Pop Woodcore – Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex, with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability.
Laminates
Buried Treasure – The ultimate truss of carbon, kevlar, and basalt fibers, adding strength and allowing for a slimmer, lighter weight core. Strategic placement gives liveliness to the board by adding response to the tips and leaving torsional softness between the feet.
Tri-Ax Fiberglass – A three-way weave of fiberglass with strands running at 45-degree angles. It provides superior pop, consistent torsional flex, and more overall response.
Base
Sintered HD Base 7200 – The fastest and hardest sintered base on the market. It provides the most impact resistant surface available, and its high-density molecular structure holds wax longer.
Diamond Stone Finish – A slight diamond-structured stone grind is added to the base to maximize glide and optimize durability. It eliminates the slow, suction cup feel that comes with one-dimensional base finishes.
Factory Waxed – All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.

Ultimate Traction – This small counter radius (bump) placed in the middle of the board’s sidecut improves edge hold without creating drag or strange edge grip. It adds extra bite on ice and turns regular turns into confident carves.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
