With a history of cranking out classic boards like the cult favorite Marek, it's no secret that when master shredder Rusty Malinoski gets together with master shaper Aaron Stumpf, good things happen. The Hyperlite Rusty Pro Wakeboard keeps the tradition alive, and with some style. This big-bodied boat board is built boost it big off the wake. It's light and snappy, rails hard on edge, and provides the combination of explosive pop and forgiving landings that Rusty needs to fuel his high flying riding style.
Abrupt Continuous Rocker – This rocker line adds a little more kick that so many riders look for. The Abrupt Continuous rocker line transitions to a slightly exaggerated tip and tail rocker creating added pop without sacrificing speed into the wake.
Sized Up Philosophy – Advances in board construction have reduced boards' overall weight, keeping swing weight at a minimum. Combined with the wake size of today, this evolution means it's time to ride a larger board delivering more pop and airtime and more stable and secure landings.
Dual Tip to Tail Channels
Variable Edge Profile – Forgiving between the inserts, the edges sharpen towards the tip and tail.
Biolite 3 Core – The secret recipe HL has been perfecting since day one. This core is the gold standard in the industry and used throughout the line. Bio 3 is HL's lightest and most durable formula to date.
Layered Glass – Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass, this deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Monocoque Construction – Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts to prevent delamination.
Molded Landing Feature – Shape disperses water on impact for softer landings.
0.7" SS Beam 4-Pack – Beam Fins are modeled after a traditional molded-fin, providing a looser feel than P-Wing and A-Wing Fins. Beam Fins have a running length of 8.5" and can break free when desired.
M6 Inserts – Delivers a more secure fit of the bolts to the inserts, improving bolt retention keeping binding hardware locked down.
Shaped by Aaron Stumpf – Aaron Stumpf leads the Hyperlite research and development team shaping many of our bestselling wakeboards and surfers. A product design specialist with 25 years of experience, Aaron also creates our manufacturing processes and innovative construction formulas.

Low Pro Plate System – The Low Pro Plate System takes much of what Hyperlite learned from the System Binding and incorporates it into a more traditional design. They began by reducing the overall volume by nearly 16%, which translates into a much lighter boot. The drop-through footbed keeps a rider closer to the deck for maximum control and response. To ensure the baseless design did not produce unwanted plate twist, they connected the sidewalls to chassis create a stronger foundation.
Aluminum Mounting System – Reinforced stability plates with a raised teeth interlocking design, reducing heel lift and solidifying your connection.
