Product Info

A snappy FCS™ Certified wood core and Carbon laminates make sure the Burton Custom never falls short. Even if the snow is hard or icy, Frostbite edges will keep you from slipping out thanks to their tremendous edge-hold. Beware, this tried and true classic is back again and seeking a rebate on last season. From the trick you didn't stomp to the pow day you missed, to the beer shotgun contest you lost on the chairlift. Yes, it is time to reclaim your mountain and that starts with the Burton Custom Snowboard.

Product Details

Rocker Type

CamberPowerful, poppy and precise for a snappy suspension. Camber offers continuous edge-hold from tip to tail.

Flex

Happy MediumIdeal for riders who never want to be limited or held back. It provides you with turning precision and cush landings but isn't soft enough to make a fast ride feel squirrely.

Twin FlexHaving a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.

Shape

DirectionalA directional snowboard is the best for turning and charging. Going one direction at a time, you can go ride some pow or big mountain obstacles. Directionals are designed with a flexible/‘softer’ nose and a stiff tail for ample floatation.

Pro Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Core

FSC™ Certified Super Fly ll™ 700G CoreStrong and lightweight woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduce weight. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

Dualzone™ EDG™The wood grain is positioned perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges. Engineered Grain Direction provides you with consistent edge-hold and added strength.

Squeezebox LowBurton's Squeezebox improves your boards performance by balancing thicker more powerful core sections in with thinner more flexible sections. Meaning you get enhanced board connectivity, response and predictability.

Laminates

45° Carbon HighlightsAdds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune the board's torsional flex. This addition achieves a variety of riding characteristics. A 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride and increases the durability of the board.

Base

Sintered WFOBurton infused specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material. The result is an ultra-durable base that stays fast and furious all season in any conditions.

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Edges

Frostbite EdgesThe edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Regardless of the conditions they make your ride easy, playful and always precise.

Additional Features

Infinite Ride™Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Binding Compatibility

The Channel™Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major binding companies (not just Burton’s).
