2025 Line Pandora 106 Skis Review

The Lowdown
I became a fan of the Line Pandora collection in 2023 with the women-specific Pandora 104 and was thrilled to get a chance to cruise through all kinds of terrain this season on the all-new 2025 Line Skis Pandora 106 Skis. Shifting to an entirely unisex line, this collection is geared for intermediate to advanced riders seeking versatile skis intended to ride all-mountain, big mountain, and powder.
With its consistent and lively feel underfoot, Thick Cut Sidewalls™ minimize vibrations while its versatile design ensures the Pandora 106 delivers excellent float in deep snow without compromising on hard-pack performance. The characteristics I was keen on in the 2023 women’s Pandora 104 were the poppy, playful, and nimble feel you get while bouncing from edge to edge. Plus, they were light enough to slap on some Shift bindings and use them as a hybrid touring ski, too. The 2025 Pandora 106 skis are 2mm wider and have a bit more weight to them, but still maintain that poppy, playful, and nimble feel I gravitate towards. Technical Details
Quite a bit has changed in the construction of the 2025 Line Pandora 106, but each change has improved the ski while keeping the energetic, and intuitive roots of the Pandora collection alive. With an intentional focus on improving sustainability, the Bio-Resin Tech and FSC Certified Wood Cores help reduce environmental footprint while delivering a ski that is made to last. The Bio-Resin laminate serves as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based resins. It provides the binding agent for the ski's layers, contributing to its overall strength and durability. The core construction is updated from Aspenlite™ to an Aspen Veneer core which is a blend of of Aspen Stringers brought together for a lightweight, snappy, and engaged feel.
The 2025 iteration of the Pandora 106 isn't as light as its predecessor, but the tradeoff is an extremely damp and stable ski that becomes trusty and reliable the more you ski it. We also see a shift from Capwall™ sidewalls to Thick-Cut Sidewalls that add strength and concentrate power over the edge further developing that predictable and efficient edge-to-edge energy transfer that really shines through while carving up groomers. Overall, the construction changes make these skis feel powerful and durable with enough play to take you anywhere on the mountain.

Ride Impressions
I spent this season on the 176cm length skis and they were the perfect size for me. Sizing up to the 183cm at this width would have been just a bit too much ski for me and the 169cm would have been a tad too short, so the 176cm length is perfect for my riding style and preferences.
Since I can usually count the number of true deep pow days I get on one or two hands in any given season, mostly spent inbounds in Colorado, I tend to gravitate towards a waist width range of 97-104mm, but at 106mm, the construction of these skis proved to be very maneuverable in deep conditions and easy to go edge to edge on hardpack. These skis definitely shine where they are made to: in powder. They float effortlessly with what seemed to be the perfect weight to initiate turns in the deep stuff and drive with precision on the steep stuff. As someone who has been skiing since I was 5 but has also experienced many, many ski injuries, I now search for a ski that inspires me to develop a unique style but constantly evokes confidence while I’m riding. I’m not much of a dare-devil anymore because I hate medical bills and tend to rack a few up every season, so I don't spend too much time in the air on skis, and I seek out sticks that help me to feel planted and stable no matter the conditions. That might not be the most exhilarating story to tell for a pair of rad skis, but my favorite characteristic is that they are consistently reliable and fit in perfectly to the types of ski seasons I have.
I touched on the 2025 Line Pandora’s predecessor at the beginning of the article, including what I liked about them and what tech changes have been made this year, but the things I liked about the older model have transferred well to this new construction. They are still relatively light, although I wouldn't tour in them, and they still embody that lively pop and play that Line Skis tends to be known for. The difference between the two is that with the added weight, you get that damp, planted feel that is my bread and butter. Not only do they feel consistently stable, but these skis are durable. They’ve been tossed around all season and barely have a scratch on ‘em, and I appreciate that. In an industry that can encourage overconsumption, I like to find good gear and try to hang onto it for a long time.
