Oakley delivers!

"I got a chance to use the Oakley Line Miner goggles with the Prizm Torch lens on a foggy, low light day. These goggles are sweet. The field of vision is great, and the lens provided an enhanced view of the mountain. I was very please with the experience!"

Great goggle for larger faces

"The Line Miner has a classic flat lens with more frame than you might see in some goggles these days, I really enjoyed both the look and feel of these goggles. They fit well both with and without a helmet. The day I was wearing them was rainy and cloudy. The hi pink lens provided great contrast in flat light and didn't fog at all."

Great cylindrical goggles that should fit well for most faces.

"The Line Miner L worked well and actually fit nicely on my smaller face (I usually need small to medium size goggle frames). I usually prefer a spherical lens but the Line Miners still had great peripheral vision. I used the newer prizm lens that replaced the prizm rose lens (forget the name of the lens) and they worked great on fairly dark and cloudy day."

amazing for everyone

"I am primarily a park rider. I thoroughly enjoyed these goggles. Im especially a big fan of the look of the goggles. The conditions were pretty variable and the lenses that were in handled everything. I think these goggles are for the rider who needs a do it all goggle ."

The only lens you need.

"For a goggle that doesn't have a magnetic option (yet) it's still one of my favorites. Their Prizm Hi Pink is truly perfect for the North West and what rode the best that I tried. They also fit my face the most comfortable and I was happy they had medium options to try. If you are mostly riding in similar conditions these are the only goggles you need. I could see the variables in the snow so well."

S frame is great for smaller faces.

"Visibility went from snowy to sunny and these googles handled it all with ease. I was amazed at the spectrum of weather that I was able to see perfectly in. Fantastic value and fit my face with a helmet very well"

Best goggle in the game!

"The line miner is the best goggle in the game! Oakley has been killing it for years! I have terrible vision and need a good goggle to be able to see! The line miner fit my face amazing and the peripheral vision is great! Prizm on their lenses also helps see the contour of the snow super well!"

Pros

  • Excellent Visibility: The Prizm lenses significantly enhance contrast and clarity, making it easier to see in various light conditions.

    - Justin Courtney and Bennett Kielbon both noted the enhanced view and great contrast in low-light and flat-light conditions.

  • Comfortable Fit: The goggles fit well with and without a helmet, and come in multiple sizes to accommodate different face shapes.

    - Bennett Kielbon and Haley Hyde highlighted the comfortable fit, both with and without helmets, with Haley noting the availability of medium options.

  • Versatile Performance: These goggles perform well across a wide range of weather conditions, from foggy and rainy to sunny and clear.

    - Zac Ford and Dani Venus both praised the goggles for handling variable conditions effectively.

Cons

  • No Magnetic Lens Option: The lack of a magnetic lens change system is a drawback for those who prefer quick lens swaps.

    - Haley Hyde pointed out that the goggles don’t yet feature a magnetic lens option.

  • Slight Preference for Spherical Lenses: Some testers who prefer spherical lenses might find the cylindrical lens design less optimal.

    - Todd Cohn mentioned he usually prefers spherical lenses but found the cylindrical lenses still performed well.

  • Frame Size Preferences: While generally comfortable, the larger frame size might not be ideal for everyone, despite multiple size options.

    - Todd Cohn noted that although the L size fit his smaller face, it may still be too large for some users.

Who Is It For?

The 2025 Oakley Line Miner goggles are best suited for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels who need versatile, high-performance eyewear for a variety of conditions.

These goggles excel in providing enhanced visibility and comfort, making them ideal for those who frequently ride in low-light, cloudy, or variable weather. The Prizm lenses enhance contrast and clarity, which is especially beneficial for riders who need to see the terrain details clearly. Whether you are an all-mountain rider, a backcountry enthusiast, or a freestyle park rider, the Oakley Line Miner offers the performance and reliability you need.

However, those who prefer a magnetic lens change system might find these goggles less convenient, as they lack this feature. Additionally, riders who are accustomed to spherical lenses might need some adjustment to the cylindrical lens design of the Line Miner.
