"Legitimize your freestyle game with this camber, early rise, twin park chomping, challenge accepting fun board. We took the nimble playfulness of the Banana Tech Box Scratcher and the stable float / aggressive pop of the camber Box Knife and fused them into one fully legit shred sled...its poppy, floaty, buttery, and ready for anything!"  Lib Tech Logo

Awesome ride for intermediates and experts!

"The conditions I rode this board on were groomers and packed powder. I am 5'6, 170 pounds, size 7 men boot, Binding angles are 15°, -12° with a 21½ inch wide stance, and have been riding for the past 26 years. My everyday snowboard is a stiff 157cm with a profile of camber, rocker, camber direction twin. I love to ride in the steep and deep, play in the trees, find side hits, jump off cliffs, and carve so hard my hands and chest touch the ground. I rode this in a 154 and I would add this to my quiver of boards in a heartbeat. If I only owned 1 board I would get this in a 157. It handles a very similar but shorter version of everyday board which is my favorite board of all time it does everything I need it to and more. I would not put a rider with less than 25 total days of snowboarding in their life on this board unless they don't mind falling more in the first 25 days."

Great park option for intermediate to advanced riders!

"The legitimizer is a fun park board with a good amount of pop. The board is still pretty playful and catch-free, despite having a good amount of camber in it. The 154cm was a touch too narrow for my K2 10.5 boots, so I could have used the next size up, but I still enjoyed the maneuverability on the 154cm. True twin that rides the same switch as it does regular."

I'd recommend this board for people wanting to try camber that's not catchy, intermediates riding resort and to the jibbers and park rats.

"I'm 6' 175lbs with a size 11 boot and was riding this board on a hardpack groomer day with the Bent Metal Anvil's. This board is effortless, you hop on and feel like you can do anything you can come up with. It's stable enough for all mountain riding, but the mellow camber is playful when on the tips, making butters and rails a breeze. Makes the resort feel like a skatepark, doesn't get much better than that."

Pros

  • Versatile Performance: The 2025 Lib Tech Legitimizer excels across various terrains, from groomers to deep powder, making it an excellent choice for all-mountain riders.

  • Playful and Stable: Despite its stable camber profile, the board remains playful on tips, making butters and rails a breeze, turning the resort into a skatepark.

Cons

  • Not for Beginners: The performance demands of this board make it less suitable for those with less snowboarding experience, as it can be challenging to handle.

Who Is It For?

The 2025 Lib Tech Legitimizer is best suited for intermediate to expert riders looking for a versatile and playful all-mountain snowboard. This board excels in various terrains, including groomers, powder, and park features, making it a great option for those who enjoy a mix of riding styles. It’s perfect for riders who appreciate stability but still want a playful feel for tricks and jumps. However, beginners or those with fewer than 25 days of experience may find this board challenging due to its advanced performance features. Additionally, riders with larger boots might need to consider a wider model to ensure comfort and control.
