The 9 Best Glove Liners for Skiing & Snowboarding of 2023

By: Jen Streby: Senior Buyer | February 9, 2023

From the mountain slopes to the streets in the city, glove liners are always good to have on hand, pun intended. When shopping for ski & snowboard glove liners, there are a few factors to weigh. First and foremost, you'll want to know what material the liners are. Are you looking for a lightweight and breathable option? Or do you need something extra warm and insulated? Next, do you frequently adjust your bindings or fiddle with your phone? This comes into play when determining the level of dexterity you need in your liners. If so, look for liners with touchscreen capabilities. Lastly, think about the overall fit and comfort of the liners. After all, you'll be wearing them all day on the mountain, so they should feel good on your hands!

New This Year:

As always, you’ll see widespread incorporation of touchscreen technology in the best glove liners, as convenience with accessing a phone is a must. Brands like Hestra also now offer heated liners for those who want to take their warmth to the next level in the harshest conditions. Additionally, there are more options for eco-conscious consumers, with sustainable Merino Wool making appearances.

Jen Streby

Hi! My name is Jen and while growing up in the very cold Midwest, I didn’t have much experience in the snow apart from sledding and building your classic snowman. Eventually, after college, I migrated my way out to Utah. There I stepped on the snow on skis for the first time at the young age of 27. The first experience being at Alta, doing a complete yard sale under the Collins lift on my first run. Stubborn me didn’t give up. I soon after got a job at Snowbird where I grew to love the sport and learned to love the mountains in the wintertime as much as I do in the summer.

My winter passion didn’t change upon moving to the PNW where I call Seattle my home. I started with evo 6 years ago and have been a buyer for several categories, one of which currently includes the snow accessories category. Come to me if you want to talk about helmets, goggles, gloves, and more.
